Michael Ross is delighted to announce that one of its designs has been selected for Season 5 of the critically acclaimed comedy series, ‘What They Do in the Shadows’.
The documentary-style or ‘mockumentary’ horror comedy series, set in modern times, follows the lives of a group of vampires who have lived together for hundreds of years in Staten Island (US).
The distinctive V neck Fair Isle cardigan that has been chosen, features traditional Fair Isle motifs and patterning in a delicious blend of muted tones including a soft grey/green, wine, burnt orange, black, cream and lilac.
Nominated for 17 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series in 2020 and 2022, the show is based on the feature film of the same name, from Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi. Particularly praised for its cast and writing, it stars English actor Matt Berry as lustful British vampire Laszlo Cravensworth.
Scheduled for Summer ’23, production has already started in Toronto, Canada.
